Xuantong Yuanbao is the currency name of the Qing Dynasty. It is the silver yuan issued in Xuantong. The silver coin of the Qing Dynasty in the third year of Xuantong was the official national coin of the former Qing Dynasty, which was originally issued in October of 1911. It hasn't been issued yet. Since Wuchang, the state has changed suddenly. The silver coins, which had been sent to the Du branch, became the payment for the suppression of the new forces in Wuchang in the two towns of Beiyang. The silver coins deposited by Ningchang (originally issued in Shanghai at the same time) and part of the silver coins deposited by Hubei factory have become one of the common circulation silver coins. In 1889, Zhang Zhidong, governor of Guangdong and Guangxi, set up a mint in Guangdong to mint silver coins. In the middle of the coin is the Chinese character "Guangxu Yuanbao", surrounded by nine Chinese characters "Kuping, Guangdong Province, seven coins and three cents", later changed to seven coins and two cents; on the back is the dragon pattern and English, commonly known as "Longyang".
The silver coins of the three eastern provinces were well-known in the silver coins of the Qing Dynasty, mainly because of the beautiful artistic shape, magnificent momentum, flying clouds and exquisite craftsmanship of the dragon, which can be said to be a peak in the silver coins of the Qing Dynasty. Although the number of silver coins cast in the three eastern provinces is not large, but the design of the edition is very rich, which can not be compared with other silver coins. Dragon is the symbol of our Chinese nation. It has great influence and deep meaning. It is connected with politics, economy, civilization and religion.
